 Preposition of Position หรือ  Preposition of Place คือ คำบุพบทบอกสถานที่ ได้แก่

Prepositions of time

 1. At ใช้กับจุดย่อย ๆ ของเวลา วันหรือระยะเวลาที่เป็นเทศกาลประจำปี ตัวอย่างเช่น
- He is coming back at 9 o'clock.
- She went to bed at midnight.
- We visit our parents at weekends.
- We are having a party at night.

กริยาต่อไปนี้ตามได้ทั้ง gerund (V.-ing) หรือ infinitive (to v1) แต่ความหมายเหมือนกันได้แก่คำว่า
hate        เกลียด
love        รัก
like         ชอบ
prefer     ชอบมากกว่า
begin      เริ่มต้น
start        เริ่มต้น
continue ดำเนินต่อไป

กริยาที่ตามหลัง gerund (V.-ing) หรือ infinitive (to v1) แต่ความหมายแตกต่างกัน
1. remember จำได้
remember +  to v 1จำได้ว่าจะต้องทำอะไรบางอย่าง
I hope I remember to pay the phone bill.
remember + v ing จำได้ว่าได้ทำอะไรไปแล้ว
I still remember going to my first dance.

กริยาที่ใช้ตามด้วย gerund ได้แก่คำว่า
admit ยอมรับ                          miss พลาด 
finish เสร็จสิ้น                          postpone เลื่อน
deny ปฎิเสธ                           avoid หลีกเลี่ยง
keep (on) ทำต่อไป                 mention เอ่ยถึง
