   Possessive Pronouns ( สรรพนามเจ้าของ )  คือสรรพนาม
ที่ใช้แทนคำนามเมื่อแสดงความเป็นเจ้าของ
ได้แก่คำต่อไปนี้    mine,ours, yours, his, hers,its,theirs 		  
   The smallest gift is mine. ของขวัญชิ้นที่เล็กที่สุดเป็นของฉัน
This is yours. อันนี้ของคุณ
His is on the kitchen counter. ของเขาอยู่บนเคาน์เตอร์ในครัว
Theirs will be delivered tomorrow. ของพวกเขาจะเอามาส่งพรุ่งนี้
Ours is the green one on the table . ของพวกเราคืออันสีเขียวที่อยู่บนโต๊ะ
possessive pronouns มีความหมายเหมือน    possessive adjectives แต่หลักการใช้ต่างกัน
This is my book.
นี่คือหนังสือของฉัน ( my ในประโยคนี้เป็น possessive adjective ขยาย book )
This book is mine.
หนังสือนี้เป็นของฉัน (  mine ในประโยคนี้เป็น possessive pronoun 
ทำหน้าที่เป็นส่วนสมบูรณ์ ( complementของคำกริยา is )
