arrival   n.                  a plane or train that arrives in an airport or station

departure   n.            a flight, train, etc. that leaves at a particular time

passenger   n.            someone who is traveling in a vehicle, plane, boat, etc. but is not driving it or working on it

proceed   v.                formal/ to move in a particular direction

board   v.                  formal/ to get on a bus, plane, train, etc. in order to travel somewhere

cash machine   v.     a machine in or outside a bank from which you can obtain money with a special plastic card; CASH DISPENSER especially (BrE), ATM(AmE)

label   n.                    a piece of paper or other material that is stuck onto something and gives information about it

identify   v.               to recognize and correctly name someone or something

check in   (phr) v.   to go to the desk at a hotel or airport and report that you have arrived

newsstand   n.        a place on a street where newspapers and magazines are sold

terminal   n.            a big building where people wait to get onto planes, buses, or ships, or where goods are loaded on

chaotic   adj.         a chaotic situation is one in which everything is happening in a confused way

* airport  announcements are sometimes difficult to understand. The announcement states the flight number first, the destination second, and the gate number third.

* A visa is a formal approval given by an authorized representative of one country in the form of stamp on a passport issued by another country. The visa permits the passport holder entry into or transit through the country giving the approval.
